DJ Niques’ ingenuity of making beats has driven him to pursue both producing and DJing.

Throughout his journey, Niques has continually crossed paths between the maps of DJing and producing sets, which has led him to his true command in production. Honorably, Niques equipped beats for the world famous scratching phenomenon and innovator, DJ Qbert. He produced beats for DJ Qbert’s “Do It Yourself DVD Volumes 1 & 2,” as well as for beats on the “Famous for its Ultra Funky Beats” Needle Thrashers Alpha record.

Niques progresses in the music industry because of his dedication and commitment to studio time – exploring other realms as an artist by selling his beats and working with other DJs and artists. Because of his allegiance to his art, he has performed at many of San Diego’s leading venues and has traveled nationally to New York City, Nashville, and Hollywood. Appearing at Radio City Music Hall (NYC), House of Blues (Sunset Strip and Anaheim), Belly Up, River Stages (Nashville), Cox Arena (SDSU), and The Fleetwood, Niques has established himself as a respected DJ.

A first-class DJ and producer, Niques continues to take control and supply paramount performances. Yet, he stays true to the trade as an explorer of the evolving sounds of the music world.
